Introducing: Workplace Recovery London

Workplace Recovery London

This month we soft-launched our new Workplace Recovery London brand.

WRL will provide direct focus to our fully-serviced disaster recovery suite, which offers organisations simple, subscription-based peace of mind through the instant availability of our work area recovery service.

Accessibility is the primary driver behind the WRL concept, giving SMEs access to high-quality workplace recovery services that were once the domain of only the very largest organisations.

The suite can cater for up to 40 users with complete turnkey availability, providing access to workstations, VOIP phones, printing and scanning, wifi and other on-site amenities.

Located inside our award-winning London Central data centre, the suite is in a prime location for quick and easy access from all corners of London, and ensures a healthy distance from the capital’s ‘at risk’ zones.

Disaster Recovery Suite

Being housed within a data centre has benefits that extend beyond direct access to the digital side of disaster recovery. It also provides a level of resilience not found in traditional office recovery centres. The Workplace Recovery London suite is backed by the facility generator systems, meaning it is immune from mains failures. The building is also serviced with super-resilient connectivity for always-on service availability.

Our DR suite makes fully-featured workplace recovery affordable for everyone, not only those with more demanding high-commit requirements. It also extends possibilities for smaller organisations to more comprehensively comply with ISO 22301 standards.

Prices start from just £20.00 per month per desk.

If you’d like to learn more about our DR suite, please visit the Workplace Recovery London website, or indeed our own website.

DADI partners with Netwise

This month we announced an exciting new partnership with DADI.

We are very proud to be DADI’s infrastructure partner, providing our full remit of mission-critical data centre services as their new blockchain-enabled decentralised cloud platform goes to market.

Our network will be powering the core backbone of the decentralised platform, with multi-site services providing an ultra-resilient framework for the new system.

Given the power usage associated with blockchain technology, DADI are also pleased to be working with an operator who take sustainability seriously. Our London Central data centre operates on 100% renewable energy.

“Netwise has been supporting the DADI network since the early days of prototyping and testing, so it is a logical evolution for them to formally lend their expertise as advisors during our next phase of development.”
Joseph Denne, founder and CEO of DADI

The collaboration will bring industry insight, consultation and support during the roll-out of the DADI network in 2018. It will also provide spare capacity for the network as it grows, ensuring performance at scale.

“We are very happy to be supporting DADI as they go to market with their innovative new decentralised cloud platform. As avid supporters of bleeding-edge technologies, we are very much looking forward to helping DADI develop this system by supporting their growing core infrastructure requirements.”
Matt Seaton, Senior Manager at Netwise Hosting

The DADI crowdsale took place this month (DADI token ICO), the results of which will be used to progress their projected roadmap, which is already ahead of schedule.

Netwise Hosting commended at London Business Awards 2014

As a welcome break to the on-going build works at the new Netwise Hosting London Central data centre facility, the organisations management team attended this year’s London Business Awards gala dinner in the City.

The celebration was held at The Brewery in Moorgate, one of London’s most prestigious event spaces, and attended by over 100 of London’s finest businesses. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic 3 course dinner, with proceedings hosted by Magic FM’s Neil Fox.

Netwise Hosting put forward its Managing Director, Matthew Butt, for the highly competitive ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category. It is with great pride that Netwise Hosting announced today that Matthew was commended at this year’s awards, beating 18 fellow successful entrepreneurs to the coveted title.

This is fantastic recognition for his hard work and dedication to the business, and also serves as an excellent commendation for the entire team at Netwise, who keep the business growing at such an impressive rate.

Matthew gave comment on his commendation.

“It is with enormous pride that I am able to accept this commendation on behalf of Netwise Hosting. It is fantastic to have the hard work of both myself and my team rewarded, so I thank the judges at the London Business Awards for recognising the efforts that have gone into building the business into the on-going success that it is today.”

The Netwise Hosting team is now reaching completion of the build project for its brand new privately owned and operated data centre in Bermondsey, an 11,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility which will begin serving London’s technology community this year.

Site secured for new Central London data centre

Netwise Hosting CentralThis week we are officially announcing the details of our new data centre, opening in Central London next year. It’s now official – Netwise Hosting will be opening a brand new data centre and adjoining head quarters in Bermondsey, with a soft opening set for late March 2014.

The new 11,000sq ft facility will become our flagship data centre, comprised of a two-story zoned technical space holding in the region of 200 racks, comprehensive NOC and support centre, customer lounge and accommodation, meet me rooms, loading bays and warehouse space, central offices and further amenities still undisclosed to the public at this time. The site is being deployed with the very latest in eco-efficient technology, bringing our fantastic green credentials into Central London for the first time.

The new facility will be known as Netwise Hosting Central, located just a few minutes walk from Bermondsey Underground Station, and less than a mile from London Bridge / Cross-Rail. Our existing facility in Sutton will be renamed Netwise Hosting South.

Netwise Hosting Central will up our available rack space capacity by around 900%.

Matthew Butt, Managing Director at Netwise Hosting, has given comment on the ambition of the project.

As with our Sutton data centre in South London, we will be leveraging our in-house expertise in various M&E disciplines to bring this project to life with minimal reliance on 3rd parties.

This is a huge step for us, increasing our available capacity by around 900%. We are chasing the booming Central and East London market with this facility, looking to bring our winning formula of value, quality and flexibility to a customer base closer to the City and Docklands.

We are aiming to maintain the same pricing structure as we have in place at our South London facility, which will likely equate to the best value data centre services anywhere in Central London.

We will be releasing further details on the progress of this project as things move forwards over the next two months. We will also be updating our website and associated materials in the coming weeks. For further details, please contact a member of our team.
