Much progress has been made again this week across many areas of the project, as we head towards our launch.
Small VESDA unit installed for sampling air in the meet me and electrical intake rooms
Power outlets installed for the A side of the core UPS system
Custom made cooling control box installed for backup AC supply in meet me room
Conduit run into top of outlets ahead of commissioning
Testing operation of the backup AC controller
Secondary cooling controller being installed for primary cooling from main evaporative system
VESDA system being installed in first data hall
A-side power distribution installed in cold corridor
B-side power distribution installation under way in cold corridor
Supplies in place for first two generators, ahead of finalisation
Generator feed breakouts to external compound, including custom junction boxes for control cables
VESDA pipework installation begins
VESDA pipework leading to first containment pod
VESDA pipework reaching the far side of the first data hall
VESDA pipework backbone which feeds back to the control and analysis unit
Next week will see many of the elements completed, along with a primary emphasis on finalising all cable runs ahead of a period of commissioning.
